Minister of Health and Mass Media Nalinda Jayatissa has announced that he is prepared to make a special revelation about former provincial council members and chairmen.
Jayatissa said the revelation would expose certain actions taken by these officials in obtaining housing compensation. He added that he would make the disclosure within the next few days during a public meeting of the National People’s Power.
The government plans to make this revelation just days before the local government elections, aiming to gain an advantage in the elections.
